September Wrap Up | 2020

I think I have an issue with staying on track for an entire month. September was another month where I fell behind and also got sidetracked by another series. Although I didn’t read as many books as I thought I would I am impressed with the amount of pages I got through.

On with the wrap up:

  • 7 books read
  • 0 e-arcs
  • 3491 pages
  • 17 blog posts published (not including this one)
  • 72/100 books read for Goodreads Challenge (2 books behind)
  • 35/50 prompts completed for the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge
  • 17/26 letters completed for the A-Z Reading Challenge
  • 34/52 prompts completed for the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge.
  • To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo| This one was completely unexpected. I really enjoyed this one, there was just enough of a retelling to make it interesting.
  • Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer| I wasn’t expecting to love this one and I didn’t. There were moments that were interesting but overall it was hard work.
  • The Bronze Horseman & Tatiana and Alexander by Paullina Simons | A reread for me and I love this series. I think it has one of the best romances I have read and I love the history.
  • Heartless by Marissa Meyer | This one was a little bit of a letdown for me. I really loved learning more about the world and the characters but the romance was different and underdeveloped.
  • Trail of Lightning by Rebecca Roanhorse | I have to say I loved the rhythm and pacing of this story but I think I am too ignorant to have enjoyed it properly. I think I might research some more Native American stories and try it again.

I was thrown off course again but this time by Interview with the Vampire, but the list is smaller than last month so hopefully I will have brand new books on this list next month. Fingers crossed.
