October TBR | 2020
My reading is slowly recovering, and I think I’m heading out of my slump which is a wonderful thing. I’m being ambitious with my TBR for this month purely because I need to make sure I’m on track for the rest of my challenges by the end of the year!

I really need to keep on top of my arcs so I’m going to try and read a few more this month especially as they’re on my Kindle which I seem to read quicker than other books.





- Sold on a Monday by Kristina McMorris – When I was looking for books to complete the challenge this one really stood out for me and I really cannot wait to get on and read it! | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book by or about a journalist & “S” in A-Z Challenge|
- Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan – I have had this one on my list for a really long time but never gotten round to it. I think this will be the month. | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book by a WOC |
- Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan – I have seen quite a few reviews on this one and was super intrigued. I needed a book to replace 11/22/63 because I don’t think I’ll be picking that one back up. | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book with 20 or twenty in the title |
- Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton – I love the movies but have never picked up the books that inspired it. I’m really looking forward to seeing if I love it as much as I want to | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book published in the 20th Century




- This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay| I have heard a lot about this book and I’m interested to see whether I enjoy it as much as everyone else did. | 52 Books in 52Â Weeks Challenge – A book featuring the medical profession
- A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles – I have had this one on my Kindle for YEARS and I have never gotten around to read it! I’m really excited to read it and see if I love it. | 52 Books in 52 Weeks Challenge – “Recommended” to you by Amazon
- Watchmen by Alan Moore – I have had this book for a really long time and I really want to read the novel and see if I fall in love with it. I usually love graphic novels so I have high hopes. | 52 Books in 52Â Weeks Challenge – A comic book
- The Sandman by Neil Gaiman – I really want to read this one. I love idea of it but I’m a little intimidated by the size but I think it might be a new favourite! | 52 Books in 52Â Weeks Challenge – A book that leaves you thinking




- Love You Gone by Rona Halsall – I have tried to read another book that was local to me but it was a miss so I’m going to try this one instead! Fingers crossed I love this one better than the last. | 52 Books in 52Â Weeks Challenge – An author local to you
- Year One by Nora Roberts – I have seen so many of Nora Roberts books out and about that I thought I should probably see whether they were worth the hype. | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book with a bird on the cover & “Y” in A-Z Challenge.
- The Rabbit Girls by Anna Ellory \ There hasn’t been a lot said about this one and I haven’t seen many reviews but I have it on my Kindle so I’m excited to jump in and see if I love it | PopSugar Reading Challenge – A book with a three-word title
- The Cold Dish by Craig Johnson – I’m not sure I’m going to like this one, it’s a genre I have never jumped into but we shall see if it’s a good read or not! |PopSugar Reading Challenge – A Western & “C” in A-Z Challenge & 52 Books in 52Â Weeks Challenge – Title beginning with C



- Ink and Bone – I have wanted to jump into this world for a really long time. So I’m excited to take the plunge and see whether this is going to be a new love.
- Fahrenheit 451 – There has been a lot of hype around this book ever since I was in high school so I’m excited to give it a go!
