Books that Make Me Hungry | Top Ten Tuesday

This was actually ridiculously hard. I couldn’t even manage the full ten but I tried my best. I bet there are loads of books that make me hungry, basically anything that mentions food if we’re being honest.

On with this week’s list.

  • Eat Pray Love | I think this one is pretty obvious in the sense that it’s basically a woman eating her way around Europe in the beginning
  • Harry Potter | The feasts. Do we need to discuss this? I can remember sitting in my room dreaming about the Halloween feasts and the Christmas dinners.
  • A Court of Thorns and Roses | I remember especially in the second book the great tables worth of mouthwatering foods and it was definitely worth it.
  • Game of Thrones | Bit of a weird one to be honest but they seem to have a lot of feast with a lot of rich food in between all the killings.
  • The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender | Lots and lots of bread and carbs and basically the smell of bread all the way through this book.
  • Beneath the Sugar Sky| SO much sugar in this book, I definitely want to eat everything this within this book.
  • Quiche of Death | So. Much. Quiche.
  • Mythos | I love all the different parts of this story and the descriptions in this story were on point!

  1. I’m a fan of a series called the Cozy Corgi, which is the name of a combination bookstore/bakery, and the descriptions of coffee drinks and sweet and savory pastries drives me nuts! I’d gain back all the weight I lost in my gastric bypass if I actually worked there.
