April Wrap Up & May TBR | 2022
April was another slow month for me, but I think it might be the start of my reading redemption. I have found reading far more enjoyable this month and I actually found a book which I couldn’t put down. It was the perfect storm, so maybe May will be better. I’m not too stressed, my little boy is growing up SO fast and I am loving spending my time with him.

The Thursday Murder Club
This is the first book in a really long time that I’ve been excited to read and couldn’t put down. This book made me smile all the way through and I really enjoyed the mixture of lightness and darkness.
⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Gilded Ones
Although this book got a lot better as it went on, it took me SO long to get through it and I almost DNF’d it on multiple occasions. I am excited for the sequel to see if the issues I had are ironed out and the plot continues to grow better.
⭐⭐⭐

- The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh – ⭐⭐⭐1/2
- The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna – ⭐⭐⭐
- The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gallant
I am a massive fan of V.E. Schwab’s writing and I usually pick up anything and everything she writes. I’ve not actually read any of her new stuff in a while and I can’t wait to see where this story ends up going.
May TBR
Once again my TBR hasn’t really changed, I still plan to read all the books I have had on the list for the past couple of months. However, I am becoming more of a mood reader as time goes on, so fingers crossed these are what I’m in the mood for this month because I need to start catching up on my challenges.
