March Wrap Up & April TBR | 2022
March was supposed to be my redemption month but it was actually worse than February. I wanted so badly to get back on track but I really struggled to get through the books I read this month and it felt a little bit like a slog. I never felt like picking up a book, and when I did I was too tired to read so fell asleep almost immediately.

The Viscount Who Loved Me
I am really enjoying my reread of the series and out of the two Bridgerton books I read this month this was my favourite. I love Anthony and I love his story. His and Kate’s playful banter is brilliantly done, plus I now get to see the new series on Netflix
⭐⭐⭐⭐

I didn’t have a particularly bad book this month, well not one that I could pull out as being a least favourite. I enjoyed each of the books for different reasons, and with them being rereads none of them were bad.

- Agatha Raisin and the Vicious Vet by M.C Beaton – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn – ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea
I picked up an ARC of this one a little while ago and I thought I would move past my rereads for a little while and try something new and try and get my love for reading back. So I’m excited!
April TBR
My TBR hasn’t really changed because I’m still struggling to make it through the books that were on my previous TBRs. I’m hoping to start getting excited about reading again, I think over tiredness and TikTok has taken over so I need to sort out my priorities if I’m honest.
My TBR this month is a big one, I have been in a massive mood reading mode and want to make sure I have plenty of options going forward.

What are you planning on reading this month? And did you find any new favourites last month? I would love to know.

Looks like I’m reading “Blankets” and “Fix Her Up” in May! Thank you! I am a glutton for contemporary romance novels. I just finished “Tom’s Ride” by M. Lee Prescott (https://mleeprescott.com/) and it was my favorite read of April for sure. The book follows Tom Jacobi, a dashing cowboy (with a heart of gold) who has just experienced a nasty divorce. Tom decides to leave behind Montana and all of its memories and takes a journey to Saguaro Valley for a job opportunity at the local stables. Saguaro Valley is where he also meets Grace. She has been struggling with taking care of her alcoholic father while attempting to keep the family-owned hardware business alive. Tom and Grace find one another at a time where they needed each other the most. This was without a doubt, a heart-felt story that had me rooting for these two from start to finish. Tom’s Ride hit all the major points for a western-themed romance novel including breathtaking imagery and a dreamy male protagonist. Highly recommend if you are looking for a book that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy!
