New Adventure!

If you have been following along on my blog for a little while you will know that my mental health took a nosedive during quarantine and I am currently working towards a better me. Part of that is working out how I want to work in the long term and now I move onto the point of this blog post!

I am SO excited to share with you my TWO new business ventures.

Blind Book Date Co is a company built around recycling and saving books that would have otherwise been dumped in the bins or tips!

I want to create a fun new unique way of choosing your next read, so my company was born. We have an online shop here at shop.thebookbloglife.com or Etsy.

What will happen when you place an order:

1. Hopefully you will provide us with lots of details about what you like and what you don’t like. Even better if you use something like Goodreads because then we can have a proper snoop!
2. We will go through the books we have in stock to see if any of those fit your requirements, if we have one, perfect. That gets popped in one of our eco-friendly mailers and out to you.
3. If we don’t have one that suits we go out and start searching for something that fits. Searching high and low for that perfect book.
4. Once we find it (we do all of this within a couple of days), we wrap it and post it out for your enjoyment!

Our promise:

Although the books we ship out are mostly used, they will be good condition and be complete and nice enough to display on your shelves.

So if you’re after a new book then please consider checking us out.

My second business venture is that I have officially gone freelance with my marketing!

So if you need anything marketing related then please check out my website bradyconsultancy.com and I would be more than happy to sort you out a quote!

  1. Best of luck with your ventures. With the book one, I think it might work it if you offered random selections, too, or a subscription model. I’ve seen that advertised in a few places and would mean you could move stock and have a sustainable income with subscriptions.
