November Wrap Up | 2020

November has been an alright month for reading but I’m really going to have to pull it out of the bag in December to make my challenges. I’m actually really happy about the amount that I read especially as I took part in NaNoWriMo and won this year so reading definitely wasn’t my priority.

On with the wrap up:

• 10 books read
• 0 e-arcs
• 2604 pages
• 17 blog posts published (not including this one)
• 93/100 books read for Goodreads Challenge (1 books ahead)
• 41/50 prompts completed for the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge
• 21/26 letters completed for the A-Z Reading Challenge
• 42/52 prompts completed for the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge.

• The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson| This was such a cute listen for me, I’m not sure what I was expecting but I loved all of the characters and watching the garden not only bloom but fixing all of the children.
• Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan| I was a little disappointed by this one, I really wanted to love it but there was such a disconnect to the story and everything that was happening. It was a-okay read but there was definitely something missing.
• This is Going to Hurt by Ray Bradbury | I wasn’t expecting this book to be as heartbreaking or as funny as it turned out to be, there were some really great moments and some really sad ones.
• The Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire | I spent this month rereading and reading the new books in this series. I cannot recommend these book enough. I adore them all.

• Love You Gone by Rona Halsall | This was a complete disappointment for me, I was hoping for a new brilliant thriller writer and this was just lukewarm for me so I think I’ll be giving her other books a miss as well.
• The Cruel Prince by Holly Black | Another reread because I’m hoping to read the other two in December so wanted a refresher before jumping back into the world.

I think I’m finally making headway through my challenge TBR but there are definitely some books I still need to get too.
