NANOWRIMO 2020 | Another great year

I was so proud to say that I managed to write 50,000 words in 30 days and although it was tight it still feels like an amazing achievement. I definitely struggled the last week, with the fact that I was busier and there seemed to be a lot going on that was distracting me from the fact I was supposed to be writing.

One thing that I will say is that my book is NOWHERE near finished and not only in the sense that I need to do a lot of rewriting but that I haven’t actually finished the story and there is still a lot of writing to do before I even look at start at the editing process but I am still really loving writing this one and I think it’s going to be one that ends up making it to the long run and hopefully one that I can see all the way through.

I really can’t wait to see where this one ends up going and I’m going to challenge myself to write 500 words and try and keep up the momentum that I have going on at the minute. I usually take some time off but I don’t think that works because I lose track and found that I struggle to pick it back up again. Hoping this system works better for me.

So I won NaNo and I have a plan going forward I think this one is going to be a winner in more ways than one. I might do a few more updates on my writing and where I’m at.
