NaNoWriMo Week 1 | 2019
The first week of NaNoWriMo is officially over and I do not want to jinx anything but it has gone exceedingly well. I have used the Save the Cat plotting cheat sheet and I genuinely think it has saved me this time around, it has made me pace myself a lot more slowly than other years and I think I might actually win it if I’m lucky.
Round up of the week:
- Word count – 15,023
- Amount of scenes – 10 completed and one started
- Finishing date – 27th November
Obviously, I seemed to be doing well but I have started in the last couple of days to start lacking motivation and drive to write. I think this is where the motivation starts wearing off and you start to get overwhelmed with how daunting it becomes.
Fingers crossed everything stays on the same course.
