Things I’m doing instead of reading
My reading is still not where it usually is and I still feel a little slumpy when it comes to reading and picking up a book. So instead of posting a review of a book I thought I would list all the things I’m doing instead of reading!
1. Crocheting
I have taught myself to granny square and I’m currently crocheting myself a nice blanket which should be ready for when the weather turns.
2. Binge Watching TV
TV has become a nice little sanctum for me and I have started watching NCIS with the husband which we’re really loving and I’m loving The Last Airbender.
3. DIY
We picked up a bookcase that needed a little sprucing up and I’ve been working on making that nice so it can come into the house!
Have you picked up any new hobbies the last couple of months?
I love crochet, I just finished a toy for my cousin and a blanket for my friend who just had a baby. Usually I find I’m spending most of my time crocheting for others while the projects for me keep getting delayed haha
Love crocheting and binge watching TV. Usually do both together. YouTube have some great videos to teach yourself to crochet. I used the to teach myself to crochet 🙂. Hope we get to see pictures of your completed blanket😁😁
I’d loved to see the result of the new bookcase some day! I didn’t pick up any new hobbies during this covid thing- work was a bit crazy here (I work in a digital agency and we got a lot of questions and projects because of covid). I tend to read less also, since my daily commute is gone; but I try to read longer at home.
I’m a knitter and that has fallen to the wayside as I try to keep up with my book blog.
I used to love crocheting and knitting when I was in high school. New blanket sounds incredible! Would love to see the end result <3
