November Wrap Up | 2019
This has been a quiet month for reading and reviewing if I’m honest, but then the focus was never supposed to be on reading and blogging this month, something that should make me guilty but doesn’t. This month I did NaNoWriMo and won! I wrote a whopping 50,000 words and I couldn’t have been prouder of myself.
So this month has definitely been a little slow on the reading side of things so forgive me, but here it is my wrap up:
- 7 books read
- 0 e-arcs
- 3008 pages
- 9 blog posts published (not including this one)
- 96/80 books read for Goodreads Challenge (Completed!)

- Killing Floor – I have heard great things about Lee Child and his Jack Reacher novels so thought I would start with the first one. I have to say I really enjoyed it, there was a lot of action and a lot of gore but overall a very good read.
- Little Women – I read what seems like a lot of children’s fiction this month and I have been meaning to read this one for a very long time. I loved the storytelling but I think I need to read the second one to understand what the actual point of the story was.
- The Golden Compass – I have started rereading this series because I realised how many holes I had in my knowledge when watching the new BBC adaptation. I really enjoyed this one, it captured my attention and I loved all the characters.
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – The reread continues, this is still one of my favourite of the series. Things start getting more and more real.

- Anne of Green Gables – Another children’s classic and I loved Anne and the storyline of everything, it was a brilliant story with some really nice twists and turns. I only wish I had read it when I was younger to get the full benefit.
- The Taking of Annie Thorne – This one was probably the only book this month that fell completely flat. The story didn’t read right and I actually thought that there is another popular horror book that does it better than this one. Just saying.
- The Explorer – Another children’s but I really enjoyed this one, it was a nice read and it had some really interesting concepts all the way through. I loved reading about the different children and learning about their lives and who would be missing them.
