November TBR | 2019

I can’t believe we’re already into November already. It seems like yesterday it was summer. In terms of my TBR for this month, I am going to be taking it easy, purely because I’m also going to be taking part in NaNoWriMo which I have been planning for.

I do have quite a few library books out at the moment so that will probably the main bulk of my reading for this month. I don’t think I will get through them all, writing is going to be my main focus and seeing as I have already completed my reading challenge for this year I’m pretty relaxed about it.

I will be trying to catch up on some of the e-arcs that have been sat waiting for me patiently, but like I said no pressure.

  • Ctrl+S – This one has been on so many of my TBRs it’s getting embarrassing. I am definitely going to try to get to reading this one this month, but who knows it might make an appearance on December’s TBR.
  • Bound in Flame – I love the sound of this one, all about girl power and a completely different culture. If it wasn’t for NaNoWriMo I would be diving right into this one.
  • The Long Flight Home – I’m sure I was supposed to read this one whilst I was in Florida, either way, it never happened. I love historical fiction so this one will hopefully be right up my street.
  • The Golden Compass – This is more of a nostalgia read for me. I read the books a long time ago, but can’t remember the way the story goes so I’m excited to jump into this one again.
  • The Unbound – I really want to get into the sequel of this one, I really liked the first one and I think that this one will be a good fit. Hoping the characters are a little better in this one though.
  • Circe – I read The Song of Achilles a while ago and I wasn’t a massive fan if I’m honest, but I’m hoping that Circe may be able to turn it around for me. Here’s hoping.
  • Bird Box – I am a HUGE fan of the movie on Netflix and I kinda wanna see whether the book lives up to it.
  • Becoming – I have tried listening to this one on Audible and just can’t get into it, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get more involved in the story this way.
  • By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept – Someone requested and brought this one back and said it was a very good read. I thought the blurb sounded very interesting, so on my list it has been added!
  • An Orchestra of Minorities – Well I read The Testaments and I want to make sure I read some more of The Booker Prize Shortlist this year, I’m really intrigued by the plot, so fingers crossed I enjoy it!
  • Little Women – I know there is a film coming out shortly but I want to make sure I read the book beforehand. Mind you I have been meaning to read it for a while, so it’s a win-win.
Chat with me about books

So now that I look back over the books I say I want to read there are quite a few… Do you ever do that? Get over-excited by all the books and end up overwhelming yourself?
