August TBR | 2019

I’m sorry this post has gone up a little late, I have been dying with a cold the last couple of days which wasn’t the start of the month I was hoping for. Fingers crossed that I get over it soon and start to feel a little better soon!

We’re sticking with the ambitious reading this month as well seeing as I seem to have hit a real stride with it all. I’m hoping to get back on it when I’m feeling better.

• Ever Alice – I love Alice in Wonderland, and this retelling sounds right up my street, I love the idea of Alice being a little bit older and more aware of what’s going on around her.
• 100 Days of Sun Light – I have seen rave reviews for this book, and I was so excited to have my request granted and get onto reading this one!
• We Hunt the Flame – This book sounds completely amazing, I mean Prince of Death and a hunter? I think this is going to be one of my favourites if it lives up to expectations.

• Sleepless – This is a leftover book from my Reading Rush Readathon TBR, I didn’t get a chance to read it and I actually really want to. It’s an interesting concept and it’s been sat on my shelf for a while.
• Crown of Midnight – I am trying to reread the series ahead of reading Kingdom of Ash, I think I’m just trying to prolong the agony of the series ending.
• Ace of Shades – I have heard great things about this series and I have an ARC for the second one waiting for me on Netgalley so I’m excited to jump into this one!
• Verity – After my great experience with Too Late last month I thought I would give Colleen Hoover another go! I can’t wait to see if I enjoy this one as much as the other.

• Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – Carrying on with the wonderful reread of the Harry Potter series. This is one of my favourite series ever and I don’t need another excuse to reread.
• Wunderkids – Another one that I have been meaning to read but have never made the time to. It’s also been a leftover from my Reading Rush TBR.
• Running Girl – This was recommended to me by one of my best friends. I am really intrigued by the story and the concept behind it. I have some high expectations going into this one.
