February 2026 TBR
Last month’s TBR worked really well for me and I am actually looking forward to outlining my reads for February 2026. There were a few books that I just didn’t get to last month and want to pull forward into the new month and a few that have coming in as a preorder.
Series I’m starting or carrying on

- Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu
- I have had this one on my shelf for so long but have never picked it up. Not only that but I now have the sequel sat ready to be read so need to jump into this series before I buy any more books.
- The Strength of The Few by James Islington
- Did not even get close to this book last month, it’s a chunky beast and definitely needs some serious time to get through it.
- Brimstone by Callie Hart
- Yeah, another one that sat there for the entire month waiting for me to pick it up. I do need to do a reread of Quicksilver though so I’m dependent on that.
- The Silverblood Promise by James Logan
- I have seen the sequel for this one has come out so want to know if I’m going to want to continue the series and I would prefer matching books if that’s the case. Call me crazy!
Rereads

- Quicksilver by Callie Hart
- I promise I tried with this one, I genuinely did! I even picked the audiobook up and then returned it because the narrator wasn’t a vibe. It’s my current read so I’m hoping to at least get this one finished this month.
Standalones

- The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
- I managed to get a special edition in the Waterstones’ sale. The general feedback is that this is a really good book with nice characters and a chill vibe, which might make a good palette cleanser in between all the fantasy books I have on my list.
Illumicrate catch up

- I have had an Illumicrate book subscription for literal months and haven’t made reading them a priority so there’s a new category. I’ll have the previous month’s book and another one as an attempt to get through some of them.
Pre-Orders

- A Dark Forgetting by Kristen Ciccarelli
- Agnes Aubert’s Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett
- Cleopatra by Saara El-Arifi
Another busy month for me and I’m definitely not going to get to all of them, but it’s nice to have a goal, no matter how unattainable.

Agnes Aubert was so good! And The Dead Romantics is one I’d love to get to at some point. Enjoy your books😁
