February TBR | Books to read 2021

The second month of the year and here is my February TBR. I’m really excited to plan out the books I’m going to be reading this February. So, I feel as though January went well and as a result, I stepped out of my comfort zone a little and ended up finding a new genre, romance. So I’ll still be carrying on with my reading challenges, however, there are definitely some bonus books I want to get to as well in this February TBR.

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

I only just started this book at the end of January but it’s one that has been on my radar for what seems like forever. I’m certainly really excited to finish this one and cross it off my TBR.

.

So, these three are the books that I didn’t manage to start in January. However, I want to start carrying them over onto my next TBR so I don’t forget about them and consequently make them a priority.

  • Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Morena-Garcia
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book that has a heart, diamond, club or spade on the cover
    • 52 Books Challenge – An author of colour
  • Wilder Girls by Rory Power
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book with something broken on the cover
  • The Guest List by Lucy Foley
    • Popsugar Challenge – A locked-room mystery
    • 52 Books Challenge – Recommended on BookBub
  • And I Darken by Kiersten White
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book with a family tree
    • 52 Books Challenge – Published by Penguin
  • Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon
    • 52 Books Challenge – Includes a historical event you know little about
  • The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book about do-overs or fresh starts
  • The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book featuring three generations
  • Confessions of a Curious Bookseller by Elizabeth Green
    • Popsugar Challenge – A book where the main character works at your current or dream job
  • Beartown by Fredrik Backman
    • 52 Books Challenge – Set in a country that starts with the letter S

These are books that don’t fit into a challenge yet but are on my radar and I want to pick up if I get the chance to. I’m leaning more into the romance genre so that’s where these book will end up being.

  • The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
  • Crash by Drew Jordan
  • The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne

    1. I’m so excited for it. I love Frederik Backman’s writing so I think it might be a winner!

  1. Oh, I have quite a few of these on my general TBR as well! I loved Big Little Lies, the TV show was wonderful as well. So far I haven’t started anything new in February but I’m planning to read A Brief History of Seven Killings–it’s like 700 pages, so that’ll probably consume most of the month, lol.

  2. Oh, I was looking at the Curious Bookseller one on the Amazon first reads thing but there was something I wanted more and you could only have one! I’ll look forward to your review.
