Big Announcement | Life Update

I have been more than a little absent since March and I have no real excuse other than another lockdown and life got unbelievably busy, oh so very quickly. But I don’t think I can keep the cat in the bag anymore so I am super excited to make this announcement and hopefully mark me coming back to the the book blog life and getting back into my book reviewing and reading.

Without further ado…

We are so excited to be welcoming a little one into our lives and hopefully instilling my love of reading into their world from a young age!

Symptoms

So the past couple of months have been kinda rough, like rougher than anyone ever let on. I have been unbelievable sick, and so unmotivated to do anything. Hence, why the blog kinda fell apart, however, it seems to be passing, or getting a little more manageable!

Other than the sickness and fatigue, there’s been a little bit of back and pelvis pain but I’ve been seemingly okay in that department, for now.

The blog

I really want to incorporate this brand new part of my life into my blog. It’s the whole reason why I called it the book blog life. The plan is to keep the content pretty book related, showing off which books we’ve bought for baby and what will make up their library.

I’m not going to rule out any other non-book-related posts either. I am soo excited and I want to share these moments, more for me to look back on and read than anything else. I hope I don’t end up losing followers, but I want to write for me!

So I hope you’ll hang around for this new chapter in our lives and see all the ups and downs that comes with new parenthood!
