My Anxiety & Me

I was trying to think what I wanted to do for today’s blog post, I haven’t finished a book so it couldn’t be a review and I couldn’t draw enough motivation to create any of my other content ideas. I realised that I did a post not too long ago about my anxiety since COVID-19 became a thing and I never really updated you on that.

I will say that I stand by all the tips in that blog post and I definitely think they helped me, but I realised not too long ago that my anxiety was not getting any better and I needed more help than just some self-care techniques so I reached out to my doctor and we have settled on a course of treatment which I am currently waiting to see if it’s working.

So I just wanted to write a post and say thank you for all the support over the last month or so, I know I haven’t been particularly active in replying to comments or reading other blog posts so I apologise. I also want to say I am hoping that I’m going to be back to posting my normal stuff.

I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe <3

  1. I, too, struggle with anxiety. I’m so glad your doctor is helping you with a new treatment plan. I hope it’s working! <3

  2. <3 Hopefully the plan you and your Dr. came up with helps! I am on anxiety medicine and its amazing. I still get anxious a lot but I don't have panic attacks anymore which is amazing. <3 I love the quote you chose!

  3. See I’ve been fine being in lockdown in the house (been thriving if anything!) but on the days I’ve been on the rota at work (which has only been about 6 days throughout all of lockdown) I’ve been really anxious. I never realise that I am feeling anxious but my body does a pretty good job at telling me! I don’t know if it’s because I know that no social distancing happens at work (I had one child sneeze on me a couple of weeks ago) or that management have separated us so we’re working with people we don’t really know. The hoping schools will go back to normal soon so I can be back to working with the teachers and tas I actually know and like!
