Most Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2020| Top Ten Tuesday
I found this prompt a little more difficult purely because I’m not massively organised and I have so many backlist books that I find it hard to keep up with all the new releases I want to read. However this post has made all these new releases sound amazing and I may have cheekily pre-ordered a few!
On with this week’s list.
- We Free the Stars | I read the first one a little while a go and although I wasn’t sure about the story I’m excited for the second one to see whether it has improved!
- Star Daughter| I LOVE the cover for this one and I feel like there is going to be a huge amount of culture in this one and I am so there for it!
- Among the Beasts and Briars | Fairytale inspired? I am so so excited for it. I cannot wait to see what this one ends up being like but I think I have found a new favourite.
- Escape Room| Bit of a different theme but I saw this one and thought the concept sounded a little bit like Bunker Diary. We shall see if it hits my expectations!
- The Princess Will Save You| A princess who is also a warrior? I am so ready for this. I love when there are traditional viewpoints which are also challenged by non-traditional values.
- Set Fire to the Gods| Gods, revenge plots, failed drama, forced hands, I cannot wait to read this one. I love plots that have gods and schemes in them so I think this is going to be a win.
- Cemetery Boys| This was one that was already on my TBR list before this post, I had already heard such wonderful things about this book, and I cannot wait to read this one.
- Queen of Volts| One of my favourite series and I really can’t wait to see where they all end up and how everything works out. I might actually reread the other books in anticipation for this one.
- The Other Side of the Sky | Okay this was an author pick, because I love Amie Kaufman. The books I have read by her have been amazing and I can’t wait to read more.
- The Invisible Life of Addie Larue| Another author pick! I LOVE V.E Schwab, she is an absolute star and I really love her characters and books and everything about her.

Great list! I’m super excited for The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and Star Daughter as well! Other than these two, my most anticipated releases are A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik and The Burning God by R.F. Kuang. 😍
Ahh. I have a love/hate relationship with Novik but I might have to have a look! The Burning God sounds like something I would love. 🥰

Omg, how did I forgot The Princess Will Save You?! And The Other Side of the Sky?! I’ve got quite a few of these on my TBR too and I’m SO excited for them. I hope you enjoy them all 😀
