Books on My Summer 2020 TBR | Top Ten Tuesday
This prompt kinda reminded me of the summer vibes prompt from a couple of weeks ago. I have so many books I want to read this summer that I’m kinda worried that I’m not going to get through them all! But here is just a selection of them!

- Red, White & Royal Blue | This is a book I have wanted to read for a really long time and I think the summer is the perfect time to get into a lovely romance.
- The Bronze Horseman| I am SO looking to reread this book and series and we’re staying on the romance train and adding this one to the summer reading.
- A Man Called Ove | I was so in love with My Grandmother… and I have decided that I wanted to read this one sooner rather than later. I’m excited to see whether this one is as good as everyone said.
- Neverwhere| It has been a little while since I read something by Neil Gaiman and I would love to dive back into his writing style and the worlds he creates!
- Regretting You| Another romance! I have been a fan of the Colleen Hoover books I’ve read so I’m excited to see whether this one is also a great read.

- The Sea of Monsters| I have started reading this series again and I cannot wait to experience the world and the characters again. I have found myself loving the Greek myths again so this is the perfect fit.
- Queen of Shadows| I think I will end up reading more than one of this series purely because I am trying to actually finish the series by the end of the year!
- The Wicked King| This is another series that I want to have read and finished by the end of the year and I definitely think I will be reading these books through summer.
- The Eyre Affair | I have heard amazing things about this book and I cannot wait to see whether this is something I end up loving or hating! I love the idea of the pun in the title so it’s a winner!
- The Rabbit Girls| I seem to have taken a bit of a break from reading historical fiction, I really want to read some more this summer and get back into my vibe with it.

I would be super interested if you have read any of the above and which ones you would recommend! Let me know!

Great list!
A Man Called Ove was surprisingly good. Read it last year for book club. Hope you enjoy it when you do get around to reading it 😊
Yay to rereading The Bronze Horseman!
I did love The Thursday Next books, starting with The Eyre Affair. So much fun and very clever..
I love The Sea of Monsters and The Wicked King! And I really need to read Red, White, and Royal Blue as soon as possible. Hope you enjoy them all 🙂

Great list! Neverwhere was my first Gaiman book and it’s definitely still my favourite! It’s been a while since I’ve read anything by him as well, but now I kinda want to dive back in 😂 I hope you enjoy all these reads!
Fingers crossed for you getting to the end of the Throne of Glass series by the end of the year.

That looks like a great TBR! If I’m remembering correctly, Queen of Shadows has a rather WHHHHAAATTTTT?! moment in it! I can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
I read a few of the Fforde books a while ago, when they were new, and I did enjoy them but then after a while they got a bit samey. I hope you have a lovely time with all these enticing books!
I’m currently reading Red White and Royal blue too!🙂
Everyone I know who has read A Man Called Ove has loved it <3 Happy reading! I hope you enjoy all of these!
I’m interested in the Rabbit Girls, great list of books. I hadn’t heard of My Grandmother so need to look for that one.
My Grandmother… is one of my all time favourite books. I adored it and the characters!
