Books I Enjoyed But Rarely Talk About | Top Ten Tuesday
I had to really think about this one because I review most if not all of the books I read so I was trying to think about books that I loved that might have just missed a favourites post or might not have been mentioned for a really long time.

- Howl’s Moving Castle | I read this one a long time ago but I love the Studio Ghibli film and I actually loved the differences in the novel, I always said I would carry on with the series but never did.
- Goodnight Mister Tom | This one has a special place in my heart and I love the story, I don’t think I have ever mentioned my love for this book and the story. Plus the movie always makes me sob.
- The Winner’s Curse | This series was so hyped up a little while ago and I really loved it. You don’t hear much about this one now, but it was one of my favourite series that I binged.
- Fangirl | I’ve chosen Fangirl but this could count for any of Rainbow Rowell’s books. I love each and every one in a totally different way. The characters are some of the best and I love the way all of the stories wind their way around them.
- It’s Kind of a Funny Story | If you are looking for a book on mental illness, this would be my choice. The way that depression is talked about and looked at within this book was some of the best.

- Unwind | I can’t actually remember reading Unwind but I remember it being one of my favourites of the year. Neal Shusterman has gained a little more hype with his Scythe series.
- The Shock of the Fall | I loved this book and learning about the way a single moment has affected so many people’s lives. It was a beautifully written book and I still think about it now, and can’t bring myself to unhaul it.
- Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe | This was a book that has such wonderful relationships and the discovery of life and how one summer changes everything.
- All the Light We Cannot See | I love WWII historical fiction and this was all the things that I love. I know I have mentioned beautifully written books, but this one really was beautiful.
- The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry | I loved the relationships and the lives that are told all the way through this book. The way this book made me feel was unbelievable, well worth a read!

What are some of your favourite books? Let me know in the comments!

Unwind is one of my favourite books, so I actually talk about it quite a bit! I feel like I might have read Goodnight Mister Tom when I was a kid, but I can’t remember.

Howl’s Midnight Castle and Goodnight, Mister Tom are both on the YA part of the 1001 Children’s Books list.
The Winner’s Curse is also one of my favorite series! I Also I love Howl’s Moving Castle movie, and I’ve been planning to read the book for a while now.
I enjoyed It’s Kind of a Funny Story too! I don’t read a lot of books about mental health because they hit a little too close to home, but I’ll always make an exception for that one 🙂
The Storied Life of AJ Fikry is one I hear people rave about a lot, I hope to read it some day!
Oh yes! All the Light We Cannot See was so beautiful! Great list! Mine is here https://bookloverssanctuary.com/2020/04/14/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-enjoyed-but-rarely-talk-about/
I really ought to read Fangirl sometime.
My TTT .
Great list! I probably don’t talk about Fangirl enough. I know I really liked it, but I read it before I started blogging.
I LOVE the Unwind series, too! It’s a great series, much better than SCYTHE in my opinion. I also really liked FANGIRL, although I haven’t read anything else by Rowell. A.J. FIKRY was a fun read, too. Great list!
Happy TTT!

I love Fangirl! Its the book that introduced me to Rowell <3 Great list!
I never talk about Fangirl and I really enjoyed that one when I read it, too.
I just read All the Light We Cannot See in December and I couldn’t believe I waited so long to read it. The writing and story were so beautiful – and books don’t usually make me cry, but this one did!
I have Howl’s Moving Castle, The Winner’s Curse, and All the Light We Cannot See on my TBR pile. I’ve heard so many good things!
My TTT post!Â
