October Wrap Up

I had a good reading month this October Wrap Up.  In fact it definitely was, I read more books than I was supposed to. I read some really good books and some not so great. It was a lovely mixture and I can’t wait for November and to pick some new lovely books to read. On with the October Wrap Up.

Feast for Crows

This was my leftover book from last month, the book I started but never quite finished. I love the world. I’m not sue whether I’m going to get to read the entire published series by the time the year is out, but that’s okay I’ve enjoyed the challenge.

Grisha Series – Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm and Ruin and Rising

I kind of wish I hadn’t reread this series, I think I was happier in my ignorance if I’m totally honest.  It totally ruined the image I had of this series. The characters I had loved had become whiny self-centred idiots and the plot seemed to have all this uselessness. I think this will be the last reread that I do for this series, I might even go so far to donate them to the nearest charity shop, a sad addition to my October Wrap Up.

Six of Crows

This was also another reread for preparation for Crooked Kingdom. I can’t explain my love for this book. The characters, the story and the plotlines are just out of this world. It was a huge improvement on the Grisha series which I was so thankful for. Cause you all know how much I hated them.  This book just is perfection, there is no way else to describe it. PERFECTION I SAY. I’m so happy it made it into my October Wrap Up.

Crooked Kingdom

This has to have been one of my most anticipated books of 2016 and I’m so glad it’s on my October TBR. I loved the first one so damn much and the wait for the second was almost unbearable. This was on the same calibre as the first, if not better. There was less action but way more politics which is what I love about any kind of book.

360 to Paradise

This was a book I was given by the author in exchange for an honest review. It wasn’t like anything I’ve ever read before if I’m totally honest and I’m still not quite sure what I think about it. Everything happens in a really short amount of time, and it can be quite overwhelming.

I wrote an entire review here if you’re interested.

So that’s the books I read this month, not too bad considering. It’s an entire book over what I planned last month!

Let me know what you’ve been reading this month. Did you have any stand out favourites? Anything you think I would like? Let me know in the comments!
