It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
I am now distraction-free, my assignment is finally done and submitted. So I have 30 days free from studying which I am so excited for! I can’t wait to catch up on my reading and also I might dive back into my writing. I am busting at the seams with new ideas. So this week is the first chance I’m going to get!
Books I Read Last WeekA Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
Series: A Court of Thorns and Roses #2
Also in this series: A Court of Wings and Ruin
Published by Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
This was a reread, and the only book I read last week. It was a pretty big deadline week last week so that was my main priority. I always notice that the weeks where I don’t get to read I turn into a little bit of a monster if I’m honest. These books feel like a warm blanket, they are complete comfort reads which is never a bad thing!
The Life and Death Parade
I’m having a break from the reread and diving into a book that I received from Netgalley for review. It seems to have a unique storyline with a supernatural twist. I’m having mixed feelings about it if I’m honest. I’m hoping it’s going to pick up some! I’ll keep you posted!
Another book that I received from Netgalley. I cannot wait to jump into this book, I am a little dubious as I did struggle with Uprooted, so I’m hoping this will have a better and lasting impact. I will let you know, so keep an eye out for the book review!
And another…A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit – and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
In this thrilling third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the earth will be painted red as mighty armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy them all.
I’m being ambitious this week and planning to read another book! I’m going to carry on with my reread and I cannot contain my excitement! I love these books and series so they’re always a happy addition to my reading.
