The Week of TV | Blogmas Day 11

blogmas 2016, favourite tv shows, not book related / Sunday, December 11th, 2016

I thought I would round up all the things that I have been loving this week. I love speaking about books but sometimes I want to tell you all about the other things that I’ve loved that week. This week is definitely the week of TV.

TV Shows

Grey’s Anatomy

I have rekindled my love for this series. I have never gotten past a certain point and I thought I would give it another go. It really is a comfort food type of series, you get the romance and the medicine and it’s great. I love the drama and all the wonderful characters and patients. It is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Plus it’s great for when you’re hungover and can’t move…

Modern Family

This is one that me and the husband are watching when we eat and spend time together. I love the humour in this series, the different families and the way they interact. I really like the fact that there is some sense of aggravated sense of honesty. The different people say what everyone else thinks.

Books

A Song of Ice and Fire

I am loving being back in the world, especially after having spent some time reading lighter fiction. I love the politics and the characters, it’s making a lovely change of pace. It’s one of my favourite series, and now being on the last book of the series it’s a bittersweet moment.

Thing I did this week

I had my department Christmas party this week and it was great. I got far too drunk and ate way too much food but it was lovely to relax and hang out with the people I spend the majority of my time with away from work. I will say the hangover where I wasn’t able to sit up straight for two days, now that wasn’t fun! Hence the week of TV.

What did you do this week? What was some of your favourites this week? Let me know in the comments below.
