Popular Books that Lived Up to the Hype | Top Ten Tuesday #6

I love when I read a book matches up to the hype and expectations that surround it. I think it can be quite a rarity to be honest. I had a good think about this list and it was surprisingly hard. I have a lot of books that don’t live up to the hype but not so much with the hype. I’ve tried my best!

Popular Books that Lived Up to the Hype

For this list I looked at the books that I rated highly and then cast my mind back to why I bought the book and whether I had heard a load of people rant and rave about how good the book was and whether the story was the best thing they had ever read. This is what I came up with for books that fall into that category. All of the books above has a review so if you click on the image you can read a full in depth review with my complete thoughts on the book and why I loved them so much!

Do you love reading a book only to find that it completely lived up to all your expectations? Which ones for you have stood out? Let me know in the comments.

I love The Name of the Wind. I haven’t gotten to the sequel purely because of how LONG the books are!

Will check it out! Thanks for your comment!

Most books don’t live up to the hype for me, either. If a book is hyped, I’m really picky. I liked Illuminae, though. Six of Crows is on all the lists today. I guess that means I should read it.

I loved Illuminae and Outlander…all of the others except for Three Dark Crowns are on my TBR list, and based on your list I’m adding it now!
