Managed it! | #IMWAYR #9

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Books I read last week

I changed my TBR up this month and decided to read Voyager, I have to say it wasn’t my favourite book of the series and I struggled with the pacing of the story it was very long and I felt that it would have been better as two books, but I’ll have a full review up shortly.

Mirage was a review book that had to be read this month, and it was completely different than what I was expecting. I loved the development in the story and the way everything played out in the end. I did have a few issues with the story but I’ll discuss that more in the review I put up later this week!

Listened to last week/Currently listening

Yet again, I have made no progress on the audiobook, if you’ve followed this book for long enough you’ll know I go through phases with my listening habits, where I love to listen to audiobooks and then I fall off the bandwagon and end up missing out on listening to them. It’s one of those, life gets busy and these things fall off the list.

Currently Reading

I’ve just started reading this book and I thought it might be close to The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, but this is completely different and in a really good way! I’m so excited by the story, completely enthralled! Will keep you updated!

Up Next…

The next book on my August TBR and I’m sticking with my adult fiction thread and reading Before I Go To Sleep. This book has been sat on my shelf for forever and I always meant to read it so I could watch the movie and it never happened so finally it’s on my list!

Did you have a good reading week? Let me know which books you’re looking forward to getting to!

Nice variety of books. I am not a fan of audiobooks because I need something in front of my eyes in order to pay attention. I hope you enjoy the ones for this week. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I struggle with audiobooks, I definitely have to love the narrator and have the time to dedicate to the story!

Thanks for the comment! Checking your week out as we speak!
