June TBR | The major comeback… hopefully

After my awful month of reading last month I have vowed that June will be different, not that it’s going to get off to a good start, both my husband and I have ridiculous work schedules so that could be an issue. But I’m going to try my best and that’s all I can hope for. I do know that I have to start my 2018 must-read list again, otherwise I’m not going to make it. So I’m going to aim for a really ambitious June TBR.

So on with the show.

The Gunslinger

My first book on my June TBR is actually one of the books on my 2018 must-read list. I have to say there is definitely a love-hate┬árelationship with Stephen King, I love the depth of the story and the character, but the ending always lets me down. I’m hoping that with this being a series and will be longer than his other works so hopefully the ending will have more time to develop, and it won’t end up letting me down.

An Ember in the Ashes

This is kind of a reread in the sense that I listened to it a while ago on Audible and really enjoyed it. I bought the sequel but never got around to reading it, which I really want to do, but I don’t remember the finer details so want a refresh beforehand. I do know I loved this book and the story when I listened to it, I just want to revisit it all over again.

A Torch Against the Night

The sequel, I bought this when it originally came out and never made the time to actually read it. I don’t know why because I absolutely ADORED the first one, so this is a long-awaited addition to my June TBR and one that should have been featured a long time ago. So I’m hoping that it lives up to my expectations! Fingers crossed is all I can say!

The Gilded King

The Gilded King is a book that I was asked to review by the author prior to its release this month. I am super excited about this book, it sounds amazing, definitely something that I’m looking forward to reading. The description really interested me so I was thrilled to be able to say yes! If you would like me to review your book check out my review policy!

A Court of Frost and Starlight

This is a book I have been waiting for, for a very long time, like maybe a year, it seemed a lot longer. It’s the latest addition to the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, and I’m so excited for it! I haven’t decided whether I’m going to reread the entirety of the series yet. We shall see, I am tempted cause let’s face it you can resist Rhysand. Cause I can’t!

So that’s it! My June TBR, let me know what you’re reading this month. I would love to see if you have any great books on your list.
