July TBR | The month with no distractions!

Posted 2nd July 2018 by Jordann @thebookbloglife in 2018, tbr / 2 Comments

It is official I have finished my studies for a whole thirty days! I CANNOT WAIT.  I am planning on catching up on my reading and my blog writing. I’m hoping to get a load of blog posts in my schedule so when I do get busy I have something to fall back on! Plus I just want to spend some time relaxing, walking the dog and reading. So I have a pretty ambitious July TBR.

On with the books.

The Life and Death Parade

The first book on my July TBR was definitely not the book I intended it to be. I received a copy from Netgalley and  I am actually currently reading it. I will say I am having mixed feelings about it. I’m not sure whether it’s going to be a favourite or not we will have to see. Let me know if you’ve had the chance to read it!

Spinning Silver

This is another book that I’ve received from Netgalley. I am a little dubious heading into this one as I still haven’t managed to read Uprooted in its entirety.  However the cover for this is BEAUTIFUL and the description just sounds like it’s right up my street with what I’m currently in the mood for reading.

A Court of Wings and Ruin

And so we carry on the reread in my July TBR. I cannot wait to read this book, because I know exactly what I’m getting myself into, and it’s going to be great! I love the characters and everything that happens in this book, so I’m hoping that it still lives up to my expectations.

A Court of Frost and Starlight

The whole reason for my reread. This is the newest addition to the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and I cannot wait to jump into it. Buuuut I had to reread the entire series before I jumping into this. I don’t know what to expect but it’s not as thick as the others so fingers crossed it’s a great book. It has some big shoes to fill.

Wilde Like Me

This was one of the books that I had on my Can’t Wait Wednesday and I have managed to get it in my July TBR. I cannot wait to read this book, I have heard great things about it, and I am a huge lover of Louise Pentland and her vlogs and YouTube channel. I have some pretty high expectations for this book, so I’m hoping it’s as good as I hope it is!

Another book that was on one of my Can’t Wait Wednesday.  I really love this series and the characters, I’m really sad that I’m finally at the finale. I’m really hoping that it’ll be a really good end to not only for the series but for my July TBR!

Are you reading any of the books on my list? Or have you beaten me to it? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
