Finishing books | Book Blogger Hop #13

I stumbled across The Book Blogger Hop – I’m trying to become more active not only posting on my blog but also within the book blogger community – and this week we’re talking about how we finish books.

Do you like to finish one book before starting the next or do you read several at once? (submitted by Cathy @ What Cathy Read Next)

I have tried my hardest to get into reading more than one book but it is something I complete fail at if I’m honest. The only exception to this would be when I have a lot of review books on my plate and with audiobooks. I think the problem with reading more than one book for me is that I lose some of the magic of the setting purely because I want to fall so deep into a setting that it’s hard for me to read something else.

I would love to read more than one book at a time, it would mean my TBR shelf would disappear a lot sooner than it currently is.

If you have any ideas on how to integrate reading more than one book at a time I’d really appreciate it! Let me know in the comments!

  1. Reading multiple books at a time takes a certain skill. I used to have it, but now I find it more difficult.

My biggest tip is try reading a very big book and then find spots where you can stop and read a much smaller novel. That’s how I used to do it most of the time.
