It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Books I read last week

I had a surprisingly good week last week and managed to finish two books and start on a third. Renegades was a book I had been wanting to get to for quite a while and it was one that I actually really enjoyed. Ticker was a little bit hit and miss for me, it wasn’t what I was expecting and I sometimes struggled with the descriptions of things.

Listened to last week/Currently listening

Yet again, another week has gone by and no progress has been made. I just haven’t made it a priority and I’ve found that I can’t listen to it whilst I’m writing my NaNo novel so it’s kind of cut down on the amount of time I have to listen to it!

Currently Reading

This is a book I have wanted to read for a little while and seeing as it was on my November TBR I thought it would be better to get to it in the beginning of the month before I get too far behind on NaNoWriMo. I’m finding it really interesting at the moment but it’s still early days so we’ll see.

Up Next

This is another book I’ve gotten via Kindle Unlimited and I’m kinda more than excited to jump into it. I’m not too sure what it’s about or what to expect but the reviews on Amazon were okay and I’m really looking forward to finding new books that may not have been radar otherwise.

How was your week? Are you doing NaNoWriMo? Has it affected your reading? Let me know in the comments!

  1. No NaNoWriMo here but I am behind on NaKniSweMo – National Knit a Sweater in a Month. Sorry Ticker was up and down for you. That book made me think of Clockwork Alchemist, maybe one you’d like more? I like the looks of Heart of Mist. BTW, I checked out your post because I saw your pic with your cute, Minnie ears! We took our kids to Disneyland for the first time this summer and me and my dames got our first ears.

  2. Glad to hear Renegades was good. I’ve been thinking of getting that one on and off but have just never picked it up. I ‘d like to try one of her books though.
