This is this the month I get married. I haven’t cut down my reading only because I’m spending a week in Dublin and I might get some reading done. I’m not going to be hard on myself if I don’t get them all read because I GET MARRIED IN NINE DAYS. But here’s my August TBR.
Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer
This was technically on my list for last month. I didn’t get to it thanks to Golden Son and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child There was the choice to choose something else, but I felt committed. I wanted to dive into Rick Riordan’ writing again, and I’m glad I did. Magnus Chase is better than I could ever imagine.
A Storm of Swords: Pt 2
Now that the TV show is over for more than a year I want to read about the characters and the world all over again. I wanted to finish A Song of Ice and Fire by the end of 2016, which at the moment isn’t looking too promising, but I’m reading them when I feel like it, instead of trying to force it.
Half Bad Series
I bought the last instalment a while a go. I never got round to reading it and now I’ve forgotten what happened in the last one. I’m going to reread the whole series and then the last one. I’m hoping for a decent ending to the whole thing, but I’ve heard disappointing things. The series starts with Half Bad and ends with Half Lost. I’m not going to be too upset if I don’t finish it all.
So I have quite a few books on the agenda for August, but no pressure. I am getting married after all. Look out for the reviews, they will be out throughout the month. Let me know what you’re reading!
