Audiobook Challenge 2020 | An Update

It kinda feels like yesterday when I was laying out challenges and goals for myself and trying to figure out what I wanted to aim for this year. Audiobooks was definitely a part of that and I wanted to get back into listening and multi-tasking when I was doing other things. I will say this year hasn’t gone exactly to plan with that and I kinda lost track of my audiobooks for a little while. That seems to be coming back a little bit now and I’m still aiming for 10-15 this year.

So here are the audiobooks I have managed to listen to so far:

  • Harry Potter | I love Harry Potter and I reread it basically every year. The audiobooks for this series are fantastic and I adore them so these were my first listens for the year.
  • The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle | I so wanted to love this one but something missed the mark for me. I appreciated the ending but there was SO much happening and not all of it made complete sense.
  • Mythos | Greek myths are some of my favourite stories but I had never heard them told like this and I have to say it was one of the best listens this year.
  • The Martian | This was a relisten and I enjoyed it just as much this time around as I did the last time. It is a really good book and really shows the science of living on Mars.
  • The Duke and I | Well if this book hasn’t started a spiral, I adored this book and the characters and the romance. Although this was the most predictable book ever, I fell completely in love this everything about this story.
  • The Viscount Who Loved Me | As mentioned above, these books are quickly becoming a fast favourite. I am loving the dynamic in this one and I think I’m going to end up loving this one as well.

  1. Maybe I’ll start a late audio book challenge! I haven’t listened to an audiobook in awhile but I do enjoy it. I hope you like Ninth House, it’s on my TBR and I’ve heard such great things!

    1. I have heard mixed things which is why I’m a little hesitant about Ninth House! But YESS definitely start an audiobook challenge! <3
