It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Books I read last week

I’m really sad to say that I didn’t finish any books last week. I have been really busy with my new job and by the time I get home I just want to eat dinner and pass out. So not really conducive for a good reading environment. I think I just need to make more time for my reading and cut down on the TV time. Which is easier said than done, especially as the TV time is the only time me and my husband gets together. Needs must I suppose.

Listened to last week/Currently listening

This one is getting embarrassing, still no progress and I’m actually kicking myself that I’ve not finished this one. I think I’m going to give myself a huge kick and start listening to it whenever I get a chance.

Currently Reading

We Must Be Brave is a carry on from last week, I don’t know what it is but the book just hasn’t gripped me, I just don’t find myself reaching for it. The Sisters of the Winter Wood is an arc that comes out very shortly so I thought I would give that one a go and give We Must Be Brave a rest for a little while.

Up Next…

I will get to this book before the end of the September. I will. I mean it I will. I know I have books before it but this has to be a priority. So I have a week to read three books, can I do it? Probably not but we can try!

How has your week been? Have you failed like me? Let me know in the comments!

It’s so hard to keep up with reading when life gets crazy. Don’t stress about it. You only have so many hours in a day and I know that it’s hard for me to read when I’m exhausted.

  2. I hear you on the TV time being all you get with your husband, it’s the same for us a lot of the time. But hooray for a new job, I’m sure it’ll settle down soon and you’ll find your routine so you can get back to reading more.

    My list!

    • My husband isn’t really a big reader either so that makes it a little more difficult as well. Thank you, I’m really enjoying it even though it’s super busy and hectic but it’s a 100% better than where I was which is the main thing!

      Thanks for your comment xo
