I saw this Game of Thrones book tag on the internet and I thought it would be a cool thing to do – you know with the new series just around the corner and everything!
1. Cersei Lannister – A book that took you by surprise
American Gods by Neil Gaiman – I knew this book was going to be good, I just didn’t realise how good it was going to be. It completely surprised me, I loved all the characters and the way the story turned out in the end.
2. Tyrion Lannister – A quotable book
I have read this entire series so many times that I can’t help but quote these books! Harry Potter is such huge part of my life so it’s pretty easy for me to put quotes to certain situations.
3. Ramsay – A book that creeps you out
This book creeped me out to no end. Like even me sat here thinking about it makes me shudder a little. This story is so well constructed and it leaves you completely crippled with fear. However, I’m not completely sold on the ending!
4. Jon Snow and Ygritte – Your favourite couple
I won’t spoil it for anyone but I LOVE who Feyre gets together with in the end of this series! I adore the way the characters work together and how everything entwines into one story.
5. Sansa Stark – A character that DESERVES a happy ending
Celaena so deserves a happy ending. Her character goes through so much that by the end you’re praying along with all her friends that she comes out of it fairly unscathed.
6. Robb Stark – A character you LOVE
I loved Jack and her story. She was a really intriguing look at what it is like to be back from a dark wonderland type of place. It was great to read about someone who had thrived in a world that was made for horror.
7. Sandor Clegane – A book with a character who breaks the rules
Lila Bard plays by no rules in A Darker Shade of Magic – like seriously she is one of a kind. All the way through these books she pushes boundaries and breaks the rules on a regular basis. Plus she has no regard for the rules of the magic and breaks those too!
8. White Walkers (because why not?) – A book that takes place during winter
I know A Six of Crows isn’t technically set in winter but there is a huge heist in the freaking Ice Court. This story has some of the best characters and one of the best plots I have ever read. I was so sad to reach the end of this duology!
9. Kick-butt Daenerys Targaryen – A book with a strong lead
I think there is more than one way to be a strong lead in a story and Still Alice has the perfect example. Alice is losing the one thing about her that she values more than anything else, and watching the way she handles that is something extraordinary!
10. Last, but not least, George R.R. Martin – Your favourite author
I LOVE V E SCHWAB! I feel like her writing makes the world so rich and bountiful it’s fantastic! Her characters are so well rounded and they challenge the stereotypical norms. I just love reading her books!
